Belonging to Japan's casual dining known as "teppanyaki", Okonomiyaki (which literally means 'grill your favourites') spread across Japan . Originally a "survival street food", as it faced a food crisis right after atomic bomb at the end of  World War II. It has been evolved, upgraded by including additional nutritional ingredients and rich sauces.

All ingredients in Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki are layered: flour batter, Vegs, Mochi, chicken or plant-based alternatives, noodles, egg on a pan, beautifully grilled, coated with aromatic sauce, topped with lava, ginger and rice pops.
